It doesn’t matter what it falls under. They have a team of people that check for that stuff. That’s all the do. This game is not like WoW. They tell you every month how many people they kicked off for trying this kind of stuff. If you sell or buy anything they kick you off.
The soft top is like a convertible top. You can fold it down and go topless when the weather is nice, which I really enjoy. But the soft top can be quite noisy at highway speeds. The hard top can be taken off, but it needs to be unbolted and it takes at least two people to remove it. Then there is the issue of storing it. I doubt there is much difference between the hard top and soft top as far as summer heat goes. I had a dark soft top for a few years and it was pretty hot is the summer. And it was pretty cool in the winter. I don’t know where you live but in a colder climate the hard top might be nice in the winter. As for safety it pretty much a wash. As pointed out in a roll over the hard top is likely to broken or come off. No need to mention the soft top. But there are the roll bars to give some protection. Prices are all over the place.
